Their Peru Rumiyacu espresso had a nice acidity that smoothed out when sipped as a Flat White. Interior: Nestled in a cozy, minimalist gallery space, it gives you a moment to slow down and truly savor the craft. It’s an unhurried, quiet stop designed for lovers of great coffee and calm atmospheres. This bridge isn’t my top pick for a stroll, but li This bridge isn’t my top pick for a stroll, but like every bridge in Budapest, it holds its own kind of magic, and for this bridge it’s an unbeatable front-row view of the Hungarian Parliament Building. 💛 I tried to catch the mood of the walk as late afternoon set in. It felt cinematic, almost like a quiet, unscripted moment from a vintage movie. And what I loved most is that this bridge feels less like a crowded tourist spot and more like a local shortcut where you just happen to catch a glimpse of the city looking absurdly pretty. 🤩 Save this spot for your next late afternoon stroll in Budapest. The famous Danube view may be the iconic one, but make sure to not miss Kossuth Square while there. It is magical, especially at sunset. 🌅 Make sure to walk all the way around the Parliament building. Viewing it from every angle reveals details that make this stop unforgettable. It is definitely another highlight of the route. 🏛️❤️ 9️⃣ On the final stretch of the tour, it’s time for some history. The “Shoes on the Danube” memorial honors the victims who were executed along the riverbank during World War II. Sixty pairs of iron shoes remain frozen at the water’s edge. 👞 This is a touching, quiet tribute to the thousands who lost their lives. What happened in 1944 should never be forgotten.
 🔟 Finish this walking tour at the iconic Chain Bridge. 💙 Ending here is a strategic choice: from this vantage point, you get an incredibly beautiful view of the Buda side where you started this morning, and the bridge itself is stunning as the daylight fades. It’s the perfect final spot. 🙌🏻 ➕ Bonus Ending: As the sun sets, the ultimate way to end this day is with a Danube evening cruise. From the Chain Bridge, it’s just a short walk to the docks. Let’s be honest: Liberty Bridge is stunning, but t Let’s be honest: Liberty Bridge is stunning, but the Chain Bridge has my heart. Budapest’s true gem, if you ask me. 💎💙 When I started planning my trip to Budapest, every recommendation seemed to point to Liberty Bridge. And after visiting, I completely understand why — it’s beautiful. But somehow, I kept finding myself drawn back to Széchenyi Chain Bridge. Morning, afternoon, or shortly before sunset, it looked incredible every single time. The views, the light, the details, the backdrop of Buda and the surrounding buildings. It all felt a little more magical to me. ✨ So maybe this is an unpopular opinion and it’s just me, but the Chain Bridge was the one that truly stole my heart. Budapest City Guide (Part 2) 5️⃣ After all the wal Budapest City Guide (Part 2) 5️⃣ After all the walking in the morning, the Ferris Wheel in Erzsébet (Elizabeth) Square offers a peaceful, floating pause above the city. 🎡 An eight-minute ride costs around 13€ and gives you a bird’s-eye view of Budapests cityscape. It’s open every day until 11:00 pm making it the perfect spot to sit back and watch Budapest by day (or night). 6️⃣ Just a few steps away you will find the St. Stephen’s Basilica. ⛪️ A neoclassical landmark that once served as the spiritual heart of Budapest, dedicated to St. Stephen I, the first King of Hungary. For around 12€, you can enter to witness the golden mosaics and solemn atmosphere. If you purchase a combo ticket (18€) you can also climb the dome’s stairs for a panorama terrace view. 🙌🏻 💡Tip: Choose the dome climb if you want the a 360-degree view of the city, but opt for the Ferris Wheel if you’d rather enjoy a moving vantage point where you can actually see the Basilica itself framed within the skyline.
